Project characteristics
Central building of EN Bank is located in northern Tehran and headquarters activities are carried out in this building. Substantial volume of cash, valuable documents and currency are being kept in this building. The façade of building consists of glass and composites. High number of employees work in this premises. Building consists of several different zones whereas security concerns.
Objectives
Providing safety & comfort for staff and security of valuable documents and cash in the bank must be considered. Designers need to prioritize all above issues perfectly. Access to the bank for all individuals is not permitted and access levels for different administration areas must be defined. Different zones need special level of security defined on level of importance (example security of treasury & security of administrative units), so BMS designer must consider all these facts and assess all issues in designing the plans.
Solutions
Security is the main concern in this building, like any others banks which need to be safe & secure, we tried to implement security system which designed especially for banks. Creating intelligent building management system in this project enabled us to provide peace of mind and have bank bosses satisfaction in the end.
To control all heating & cooling systems Schneider products were use to gain high level of comfort and precision. Video surveillance systems (CCTV cameras) and traffic control systems to increase access and building security level were used. In order to save energy all lighting system (exterior & interior) equipped with sensors.
As a result of implying BMS by our expert engineers increased level of energy efficiency and reduced equipments deprecation and huge saving in energy & maintenance costs.
